Baked spiced nuts

Our homemade baked spiced nuts are deliciously spicy with just the right amount of heat. Be sure to make a double batch because you and your guests will not be able to stop munching this quick and easy to make snack.

    1Kg Nut mix


  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup walnuts or pecan nuts
  • 1 cup raw cashews or peanuts
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt flakes
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons soft brown sugar
  • 1 egg white, lightly whisked
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

You'll Need

  • Multix Freezer Bag
  • Multix Bake
  • Airtight containers


  1. Preheat the oven to 180oC.
  2. Line a large shallow baking tray with Multix Bake.
  3. Place all the ingredients in a Large Multix Freezer bag, seal the bag and massage really well to combine all the spices and flavours.
  4. Transfer the mix to the lined baking tray and spread in a single layer, roast, stirring occasionally for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy.
  5. Allow to cool thoroughly and serve with drinks. Or scatter through salad for extra crunch and flavour.
