Ingredients

  • 500g beef mince
  • ½ small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp American mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 rice paper sheets
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 1 egg yolk, lightly whisked
  • Olive oil spray

To serve (optional)

  • Burger pickles
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Burger sauce or aioli

You'll Need

  • 1 Multix Air Fryer Paper Liner Sheet

Method

  1. Place a Multix Air Fryer Paper Liner Sheets into the basket of your air fryer.
  2. In a bowl, combine the beef mince, onion, garlic powder, tomato sauce, mustard, salt and pepper until just mixed.
  3. Lay one rice paper sheet on a clean work surface and lightly brush both sides with the whisked egg yolk to soften it slightly.
  4. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture into the centre and top with half a slice of cheddar cheese.
  5. Brush a second rice paper sheet with egg yolk and place it over the top. Fold the edges in tightly to create a sealed parcel. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Arrange the cheeseburger parcels on the Multix Air Fryer Paper Liner Sheets in a single layer and lightly spray with olive oil.
  7. Air fry at 200°C for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden, crispy and the beef is cooked through.
  8. Serve with burger pickles, shredded lettuce and your favourite burger sauce for dipping.
