Chocolate strawberries

Strawberries and chocolate! This easy recipe is perfect to do with the kids or just when you want a really lazy and yummy dessert. You can mix it up by using different coloured chocolate or even sprinkling the strawberries with your favorite chopped nuts (almonds or hazelnuts work really well)

Ingredients

  • 12 strawberries washed
  • 1 200g bar of good quality dark chocolate

You'll Need

  • Multix Patty Pans Coloured Small
  • Multix Resealable Slider Sandwich Bags

Method

  1. Using a small hole cupcake pan, line 12 holes with small paper patty pans.
  2. Break the chocolate up into single squares or small pieces. Place in a Multix slider bag. Seal and microwave on high for 1 minute until the chocolate is melted.
  3. Snip a small hole in the corner of the bag and using it like a piping bag to pipe chocolate into each of the patty pans using just enough to cover the base of each pan. Place a strawberry in each chocolate filled pan. Chill and serve as a easy dessert or as part of an afternoon tea.
