Air Fryer Chicken Tikka

Ingredients

  • 600g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp tikka masala paste
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Olive oil spray

To serve (optional)

  • Steamed rice
  • Warm naan
  • Cucumber raita
  • Fresh coriander
  • Lemon wedges

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the yoghurt, tikka masala paste, garlic, ginger and lemon juice.
  2. Add the chicken and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for extra flavour.
  3. Place a Multix Air Fryer Paper Liner Sheets into the basket of your air fryer.
  4. Arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer on the air fryer sheet and lightly spray with olive oil.
  5. Air fry at 200°C for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and lightly charred on the edges.
  6. Serve with steamed rice or warm naan, a dollop of cucumber raita, fresh coriander and lemon wedges.

 

Tips

  • Thread the chicken onto skewers before cooking for easy chicken tikka kebabs.
