Icy poles
Fill an ice cube tray with juice or cordial and cover tray with two layers of Multix Alfoil. Push icy pole sticks into each hole - the foil will hold the sticks in place. Carefully put the tray in the freezer. When frozen, take off the foil and you have home made icy poles! You could also use small plastic cups instead of the ice cube tray.
Chocolate peanut spiders
To make these yummy treats, you will need a 250g packet of milk chocolate melts, 2 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter, one 100g packet of fried noodles and Multix Alfoil. Melt the chocolate according to the directions on the packet. Add the peanut butter and the broken up noodles and mix until well combined. Put spoonfuls of the mixture onto trays lined with Multix Alfoil and refrigerate until set. Makes 24.
Chocolate bar slice
• 3 of your favourite chocolate bars (Mars, Cherry Ripe, Snickers work well)
• 90g unsalted butter, chopped
• 3 cups Rice Bubbles
• 100’s & 1000’s
• Multix Cling
Line a 25cm x 15cm sandwich tin with Multix Cling so that it overhangs the edges. Place chocolate bars in a heavy based pan. Add chopped butter and stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Put the rice bubbles into a large bowl and add the chocolate mixture. Stir gently until well combined. Spoon into the tin. Smooth the surface and sprinkle with 100’s & 1000’s. Refrigerate for an hour until set then remove using the overhanging Multix Cling. Cut into squares or slices.
Rainy day shine
You can turn a roll of Multix Alfoil into just about anything! Magic wands, sheriff badges, dolls jewellery, space suits, swords, play money - it also makes great wrapping paper - you won’t need sticky tape - just add some bright ribbon or paste on some pictures.
Make your own picture frames - simply cut out a square, rectangle or circle from a scrap piece of cardboard 2.5 cm larger than the picture you want to frame. Then cut out the same shape 3cm in from the edge to make a frame. Cover your frame with Multix Alfoil. Glue your picture to the back. Decorate your frame by gluing on glitter, shells or sequins.
